Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team in Newark, DE. You will assist customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, fit glasses, and ensure products meet quality standards while upholding Warby Parker's service standards.

You will also mentor the Optical team, manage store operations, and help open/close as a keyholder. The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a licensed dispensing optician and a passion for eyewear and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician (ABO certification accepted in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong eyewear product knowledge and customer service focus.
• Clear, effective communicator who can simplify technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide optical services to meet eyewear needs and ensure accurate measurements and fittings.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team and participate in apprentice programs.
• Open/close duties as a keyholder and maintain store operations and inventory systems.
• Maintain high standards of service, drive store sales, and foster a positive team culture.
