Job summary

LensCrafters in Minneapolis is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and help drive store success by managing key optical and lab processes. Responsibilities include assisting customers, supporting sales staff, and acting as an alternate store key holder.

Ideal candidates have strong optical knowledge, leadership experience, and solid math and communication skills. Lab duties may include fitting lenses and maintaining equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates.
• Serve as an alternate store key holder.
• If in lab, custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Contribute to team knowledge and store processes in lab tech areas.
