Job summary

LensCrafters in Wisconsin is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store success by overseeing optical and lab processes. The role focuses on leadership, product knowledge, and hands-on alterations to ensure high-quality eyewear and service.

You will mentor staff, assist customers with selections, and maintain safety and equipment standards in both retail and lab settings. A HS diploma and strong optical experience are required; experience with edging/mounting is

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform edging and mounting.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service
• Proactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledge
• Assists customers with selections, provides recommendations, assists sales associates
• Serves as a responsible alternate store key holder
• Lab duties: Custom fits glasses & place prescription in lenses
• Strengthen staff knowledge, skills, & certification for lens/lab processes
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements
• Create a safe working environment for all, maintain safe work practices
• Responsible for basic operation, cleaning & ongoing maintenance of lab tools & systems
