Job summary

LensCrafters is looking for a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee key optical and lab processes in a retail environment. You will guide staff, assist customers with frame and lens choices, and ensure smooth daily operations.

In the lab role, you will help with precise edging, mounting, and quality control of finished eyewear while promoting safety and process improvement across the store.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Proactive & solution-driven, accurate execution & product knowledge.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In Lab role: custom fits glasses and inputs prescriptions accurately.
• Support staff training on lens options, lab processes, and safety.
