Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store success by managing key optical and lab processes. You’ll lead a retail team, assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales colleagues.

In the lab role (if applicable), you’ll assist with edging and mounting, ensure eyewear meets specs, and maintain lab tools. You’ll foster safety and quality while training teammates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

• Retail: Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Retail: Proactive & solution-driven, accurate execution & product knowledge.
• Retail: Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Retail: Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• Lab (if applicable): Custom fits glasses & place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lab (if applicable): Strengthen knowledge & skills for lab processes.
• Lab (if applicable): Ensure eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements.
• Lab (if applicable): Maintain safety & ongoing maintenance of lab tools & systems.
