Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Practice Manager in daily store operations. You will supervise staff on the sales floor, assist Opticians with sales and troubleshooting, and resolve customer service issues to ensure patient satisfaction.

You will help monitor patient flow, coordinate with Technicians, and ensure compliance with policies. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, ABO certification is preferred, and prior optical or retail management experience is a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO certification preferred but not required.
• Extensive optical or retail customer service experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations with the Practice Manager.
• Supervise staff and ensure policies are followed.
• Assist Opticians with sales and troubleshooting.
• Address customer service issues and process refunds when needed.
• Monitor patient flow and maintain on-time performance.
• Participate in interviewing and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing feedback.
