Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Assistant Manager in Pittsburgh to support Practice Managers in daily store operations. You will supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, assist Opticians with sales and troubleshooting, and resolve customer service issues on the sales floor.

The role requires extensive optical experience, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership ability. Role includes inventory oversight and partnering with management to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO certification preferred but not required.
• Extensive optical experience required.
• Experience with customer service and/or sales.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolves customer service issues and processes refunds.
• Monitors patient flow and ensures on-time performance.
• Assists with sales on the floor and supports Opticians.
• Leads staff scheduling and ensures breaks per policy.
• Participates in interviewing and selection of new staff.
