Job summary

AEG Vision in Seattle, WA seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Practice Manager by overseeing daily store operations and supervising staff. You’ll assist on the sales floor, help with sales and troubleshooting for the Opticians, and resolve customer service issues to ensure patient satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma, with ABO certification preferred. Extensive optical experience and experience in customer service or sales are expected, with management experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO Certification preferred but not necessary.
• Extensive optical experience required.
• Experience with customer service and/or sales.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations in partnership with Practice Manager.
• Supervise practice employees and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist on sales floor and support Opticians with sales and troubleshooting.
• Resolve customer service issues and process refunds when needed.
• Assist in interviewing and selection of new staff; document employee relations issues.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing feedback; support training.
