Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee the eyeglass department, supervise opticians and sales associates, and drive store performance. The role emphasizes coaching, strong customer service, and adherence to company policies to ensure a positive customer experience.

In this position you will monitor profits, coordinate promotions, and report store performance to regional leadership, while maintaining operational standards and staffing needs

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience coaching and building strong associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Customer service excellence and ability to motivate staff.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and tracking goals.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and adjust to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure staff do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and policies.
• Communicate with leadership and provide store reporting as required.
• Manage promotions, advertising and visual merchandising awareness.
• Supervise Opticians and Sales associates and ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
