Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department, coach staff, and drive sales while maintaining high customer service standards. This role collaborates with General Managers, District Managers, and Corporate Office to ensure promotions and policies are followed.

You will oversee staffing, training, and daily operations in-store, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines within a growing national brand.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience with supervisory potential.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong store operations knowledge and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for team management.
• Customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure staff do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards.
• Communicate store reports to leadership and coordinate promotions.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Forecast staffing needs and assist in recruiting.
• Supervise Opticians and CL Sales associates and ensure day-to-day functions.
