Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, manage staff, and optimize the eyeglass department. You'll coach associates, ensure customer service standards, and help control inventory and budgets in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll lead scheduling, training, and performance coaching while maintaining compliance with company policies, delivering a positive customer experience, and supporting profitable store

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience. Supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress towards goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE Certified

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitors retail operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversees the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Identifies areas of opportunity and creates an action plan for improvement.
• Conveys commitment to outstanding customer service and ensures associates do the same.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Executes merchandising and pricing promotions per Brand standards.
• Supervises and motivates Opticians and CL Sales associates.
