Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead in-store clinical operations and patient care, reporting to the Brand Manager. This on-site role emphasizes supervision of doctors and technicians, adherence to PEG clinical standards, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

The ideal candidate has a year of retail management or clinical leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associates degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the store and identify needs while informing them about products and services.
• Drive sales to meet store revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctors and Technicians regarding Diagnostic Pre Testing Local Mode and Digital Refraction, and PEG clinical standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols and certification requirements are executed at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards by performing basic housekeeping tasks when necessary.
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens insertion/removal.
