Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead in-store clinical operations and supervision of Doctors and Technicians. You will ensure high-quality patient care, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and drive store performance through effective coaching and training within a collaborative, fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes meeting patient needs, maintaining clinical standards, and contributing to a positive customer experience across the store’s optical services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools; optical/clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the store and identify needs to guide product/service options.
• Drive sales to meet or exceed revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques to improve satisfaction.
• Supervise Doctors/Technicians on Diagnostic Pre Testing, Local Mode, and Digital Refraction procedures, ensuring PEG clinical standards.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are executed and maintained by staff.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Uphold store brand standards and perform housekeeping as needed.
• Coach and train staff on contact lens insertion/removal and inventory management for lenses.
