Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts, guided by ophthalmic prescriptions. You’ll help patients select frames, perform lens measurements, and ensure a world class Total Patient Experience.

The role requires experience in a medical office, ABO/NCLE preferred, and proficiency with standard office software. Travel between locations may be required; strong patient service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient/customer interaction experience preferred.
• ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and build relationships with patients.
• Assist selecting frames by style/color and coordinate with measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frame options.
• Collect bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, PD, pantoscopic tilt.
• Dispense orders and repair/adjust frames; provide glasses and contacts.
