LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store success in retail and lab settings. The role oversees optical and lab processes, assists customers, and provides leadership to the team.

Responsibilities include guiding selections, acting as key holder, fitting glasses, and ensuring eyewear meets standards. Strong communication, math, and leadership are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service in-store.
• Assist customers with selections and recommendations.
• Serve as alternate store key holder.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses (lab duties).
• Strengthen staff knowledge and certification for lens and lab processes.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work environment and basic lab tool maintenance.
