Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to drive performance and service in our optical care environment. You will lead the practice's goals, cultivate a positive atmosphere, and ensure premier patient service and care quality.

You will direct daily operations, develop growth strategies, oversee staff, and manage budgets, ensuring compliance and aligned with core values and vision of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment.
• Optical experience preferred.
• Proven track record in leading overall team performance and understanding of optometric business processes.
• Ability to recruit, train, and develop patient-centric staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and direct day-to-day functions of the practice.
• Identify strategy for practice growth and achieve goals.
• Manage staff performance including coaching and development.
• Interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Review policies for compliance and communicate them to staff and patients.
• Address staff issues and provide solutions; conduct staff evaluations and trainings.
• Analyze financial data including revenue and budgets.
• Control and manage expenses related to products, inventory, and payroll.
