Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service and manage the transition from clinical services to the retail team. You will greet patients, collect information, assist with exams and lens edging, and support timely order fulfillment while maintaining brand standards.

Your role supports a seamless patient experience and collaboration between store staff and clinical services, with a focus on satisfaction, accuracy, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school required or in progress.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group.
• Active listening, build rapport and show empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with team while maintaining professionalism.
• Results-driven with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and clinical services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect patient history in the system.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and status updates on orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Assist with lens edging, frame assembly, and order delivery to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Monitor lab area quality, report equipment issues and order inaccuracies.
• Track delivery times to patients and uphold service commitments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
