Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the first touchpoint for patients in-store and support both retail and clinical teams. You will provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and ensure a smooth flow from clinical services to the retail floor.

You will greet customers, perform basic pre-tests, assist with lens assembly, and help manage orders while upholding brand standards and a patient-first approach in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or in progress.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive with problem solving and addressing concerns.
• Collaborative in a team while maintaining respect and cordiality.
• Driven by results with multitasking and flexibility in a dynamic store.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers to create a memorable experience and drive sales.
• Foster collaboration between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, enter patient history and complete pre-tests and exams.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping when needed.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Report equipment issues and monitor order accuracy and delivery times.
