Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a data-driven, experienced production supervisor for its in-house optical manufacturing facility in Sloatsburg, NY. You will supervise 15+ hourly employees on the BHD shift, report to the Production Manager, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in production with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience with at least 12 months in a leadership role in production.
• Experience supervising 15+ hourly employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills to coach team members.
• Ability to stand 8–10 hours and physically perform job duties.
• Not on any excluded individuals/entities list per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15+ hourly employees in a specific manufacturing department.
• Deliver regular feedback, mentor through one-on-ones and quarterly check-ins.
• Communicate daily production goals and metrics, drive throughput.
• Ensure safety practices and escalate concerns when needed.
• Partner with Production Manager to identify strengths and development needs.
• Lead by example and promote accountability within the team.
• Conduct trainings, coaching, and monitoring across lab positions.
• Direct associates to support other departments when required.
• Drive production to meet or exceed goals and monitor breakage.
• Maintain safety standards and provide timely feedback.
