Job summary

Warby Parker is hiring an Optical Manager on Armitage Ave to lead the in‑house Optical team. You’ll coach Opticians, consult customers on eyewear, accurately take measurements, and ensure products meet style and prescription standards.

You will drive exceptional service, train team members, and uphold store operations while staying current with policies and safety. This role blends leadership with hands-on customer care in a fast‑paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years in a management role leading a team of Opticians.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and customer-focused mindset.
• Clear and effective communication, able to simplify technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the store's Opticians; consult with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Record measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy to meet standards and requests.
• Oversee optical quality control and product knowledge sharing with customers.
• Maintain HR policies, staff development, and store operations in collaboration with the Store Leader.
