Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team. You’ll coach the store’s Opticians, consult customers, and ensure high standards of eyewear service.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years in management, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. You’ll drive optical metrics and deliver exceptional customer experiences on the floor.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states and/or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Minimum 2+ years in a management/leadership role on the sales floor.
• Ability to explain prescriptions and optical terminology to customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and take measurements.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor Opticians on the shop floor.
• Support store operations, inventory, and general systems.
