Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and coach a team of Opticians. You will help customers select eyewear, take measurements, and ensure each pair meets our optical standards.

You’ll drive exceptional service, mentor staff, and collaborate with store leadership to anticipate staffing needs and maintain a productive work culture. A valid optician license or ABO certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with state license (or ABO certified where required)
• Ability to explain prescription terms and product offerings to customers
• Experience leading a team of Opticians or in a retail setting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, fit and adjust eyewear with accuracy
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers
• Lead and develop the Optician team, provide feedback and coaching
• Support store systems, inventory, and daily operations
• Report to Store Leader and participate in Apprentice Program oversight
