Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the in-house Optical team in our New York stores. You’ll coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure precise eyewear fitting and service excellence.

You are a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years in a leadership role, ready to mentor others, uphold optical standards, and drive store performance while delivering delightful customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Minimum 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to explain prescription terminology to customers clearly.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach Opticians on the floor and in performance development.
• Maintain exceptional service standards and implement loyalty programs.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to anticipate staffing needs and oversee the Optician Apprentice Program.
• Enforce HR policies and promote a safe, productive workplace.
• Support store systems, inventory, and day-to-day operations.
