Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure eyewear meets our standards. A licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified professional with 2+ years in management will thrive.

You'll manage staffing, uphold service standards, and partner with store leadership to optimize operations while fostering a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Management experience of 2+ years with coaching and development.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and customer-service focus.
• Ability to explain prescription terminology and product offerings clearly.
• Passion for eyewear and retail; professional team player.
• Not on LEIE; maintains ethical, compliant practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Opticians on the sales floor, giving and receiving feedback.
• Coach and develop staff; promote exceptional service standards.
• Oversee Optician Apprentice Program and staffing needs.
• Ensure store operations, inventory databases, and HR policies are followed.
• Consult customers and ensure eyewear meets optical standards and requests.
