Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.
• Excellent verbal communication to prioritize tasks and answer inquiries.
• Excellent written communication to document patient visits.
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and support Doctor and Office Manager to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Greet customers and explain exam pricing clearly and transparently.
• Check-in and pretest patients efficiently and accurately.
• Verify insurance prior to Doctor encounter.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally.
• Assist in dispensing eyewear and other office tasks as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a center of excellence for first-time interactions.
• Assist in eyewear fittings and adjustments with care and accuracy.
• Notify Office Manager of any office issues or staff concerns.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the Office Manager.
