Job summary

VSP Vision in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a full-time Front Desk/Technician Support to ensure excellent patient flow and service. You will verify insurance, greet patients, handle check-in, and support doctors and the Office Manager for smooth operations.

You will perform pre-tests, gather medical history, explain tests, and assist with eyewear dispensing and contact lens orders. A fast-paced team environment requires strong communication and bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, optical retail, or related field.
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge.
• Strong communication skills to work with diverse client groups.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Verify insurance and scan documents prior to visits.
• Check-in patients and perform pre-tests efficiently.
• Explain exam pricing and process transparently when asked.
• Assist with dispensing eyewear and ordering contacts.
• Help with scheduling and phone coverage as needed.
• Maintain records, inventory and support the Office Manager.
