Job summary

Stanton Optical, a fast-growing, full-service retail optical center, seeks Doctor’s Technicians to provide outstanding customer service and facilitate a seamless flow between clinical and retail services. You will greet patients, assist with eye tests and promotions, and help deliver eyewear with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school required or in progress.
• 2+ years of customer service experience delivering outstanding service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive, solution-focused with patient concerns.
• Collaborative mindset and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs and promote products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; collect patient information and perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and keep stakeholders updated on status.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Assemble and edge lenses, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and order accuracy.
