Job summary

Stanton Optical seeks a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients, facilitate sales, and bridge the gap between our retail and clinical services teams.

You will conduct pre-tests, gather patient history, and support appointment scheduling while upholding brand standards and patient care. This role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced optical network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with the patients.
• Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing concerns.
• Collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs in a team environment.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store, identify needs for an easy, memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, complete pre-tests and various vision tests.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Maintain brand standards in-store and assist with lab activities as needed.
