Job summary

Shopko Optical in Minnesota is seeking a front desk/office support teammate to greet patients, answer calls, and book appointments. You will also handle patient files and assist with general office tasks to support the optical center.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. On-site hours may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an office is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally with excellent attention to detail and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers.
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
• Book appointments accurately.
• Process transactions in the optical billing and point of sale systems.
• Process medical billing information.
• Organize and file patient and customer records.
• Other duties as assigned.
