Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking an Optical Associate in Kansas City, KS to stock, display, and maintain the Optical area in accordance with policy. You will assist members with purchases, take measurements, adjust frames, and process eyewear orders, while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

You will educate members on eyewear care, support contact lens insertions, and help with OD services, appointments, and lab communications as needed.待遇 may include benefits and shifts per store policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise displays in Optical area and process claims/returns.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, repairs, and orders.
• Take pupillary distance and fit frames; perform final eyewear inspection.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders and manage inventory.
• Provide support for OD services and patient appointments; ensure HIPAA compliance.
