Job summary

Walmart Optical in Philadelphia is seeking an Optical Associate to stock and organize the Optical area, assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, and repairs. You will ensure accurate prescription information and process orders while providing excellent customer service.

You will handle payments, returns, and insurance-related processes, and help educate members on eyewear care and proper use. This role requires attention to HIPAA compliance and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail or healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to operate POS system and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise the optical area, including setting up and organizing product displays and maintaining pricing.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, fittings, and repairs.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders, verify prescription information, and handle payments and refunds.
