Job summary

• Licensed/Registered States Only: meet state licensure requirements to become apprentice optician and licensed optician; licensure within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize optical displays and merchandise; handle sales, returns, and payments.
• Educate members on eyewear usage, measure pupillary distance and lens height, and assist with frame/lens orders and repairs.
• Perform frame adjustments, test and verify eyewear quality, and coordinate with labs and optometrists on orders and status.
• Maintain patient records and ensure regulatory compliance within HIPAA and company procedures.
