Walmart Optical is seeking an Optical Associate to maintain presentation, stock and price eyewear, and assist members with purchases and measurements at our Indianapolis location. You will help with repairs, lens orders, and ensure accurate prescription information while upholding privacy standards.

The role involves assisting with appointments, processing payments, and coordinating with labs and optometrists.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; ABO exam eligibility.
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• State licensure and apprenticeship requirements must be satisfied where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Stock merchandise and maintain displays and pricing.
• Assist customers with eyewear purchases, measurements, and repairs.
• Handle claims, returns, and exchanges; operate POS for purchases and payments.
• Assist in appointments, pre-testing, and OD/telehealth services as applicable.
• Communicate with labs and optometrists on orders and product updates.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant records and proper documentation.
