Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months of hire to sit for ABO exam.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Must obtain state-required optician licensure within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Optical area merchandising and operate POS systems.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and assist with frame/lens orders.
• Measure pupillary distance and lens positions for various types.
• Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and final eyewear inspection.
