Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Fridley, MN is hiring an Optical Associate, Non-Certified to support eyewear sales and service. You will stock the Optical area, assist members with purchases, and perform final inspections of eyewear, while processing orders and payments.

Knowledge of pupillary distance and lens options is helpful. Responsibilities include patient education, product care guidance, and collaboration with labs and optometrists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire or job entry.
• State licensure requirements for apprenticeship or licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain Optical area; manage pricing and displays.
• Measure pupillary distance and fit frames.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders.
• Operate POS and handle payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and care.
• Assist with repairs and final inspection of eyewear.
