Job summary

Walmart in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Optical Associate to maintain eyewear displays, stock inventory, and assist members with eyewear decisions, measurements, and repairs. You will handle POS transactions and ensure proper signing, pricing, and checkout.

The role requires ABO eligibility within 15–18 months and a high school diploma; training is provided. You will support OD services, coordinate with labs, and contribute to a compliant, customer-focused optical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ABO eligibility preferred.
• Experience in optical retail or eyewear sales is a plus.
• Ability to measure pupillary distance and assist with eyewear orders and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present eyewear; process sales at the POS and handle signs/pricing.
• Measure pupillary distance and verify prescription details for lenses.
• Assist with frame adjustments, repairs, and lens orders; ensure proper inspection of eyewear.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and assist with insurance claims when applicable.
