Job summary

Visionworks in Illinois is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead the store in the General Manager's absence. This role models Visionworks values and supervises staff while ensuring a patient and customer journey that is simple, human and bold.

You will drive profitability, coach colleagues, coordinate appointments and services, and help meet daily, weekly and monthly targets. HS diploma or GED and 1–5 years supervisory experience are required; pay ranges from $17.26 to $22.87

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
1-5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Promote store profitability and achievement of sales targets by holding self and team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Role model and engage in all steps of Patient/Customer journey and supervise associates on exam lane and sales floor.
Support GM in managing incoming traffic by coordinating doctor appointments and eyewear services.
Coach, motivate, and support associates to perform in their roles with excellence for a flawless patient/customer experience.
Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve issues in the patient/customer experience with the General Manager.
Execute broad operational activities to meet the store's financial and customer experience goals.
