Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily package-handling operations and a designated staff. You will champion the Safety Above All culture, manage staffing, coaching, and performance to ensure safe, efficient sortation and compliance with policies.

You will analyze performance, lead briefings, train new employees, and partner with the linehaul and other teams to optimize costs and service quality while adapting to changing business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Ability to lead, coach and communicate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Plan and control day-to-day operations and staff assignments.
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages and compliance with policies.
• Lead meetings and communicate daily goals to staff.
