FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily sortation operations and a staff of Package Handlers, while upholding the Safety Above All Culture. This role includes coaching, hiring, training, and performance management in a fast-paced environment.

The supervisor will plan and direct operations, monitor metrics, and drive improvements. Strong communication and mentoring are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., warehouse, retail, or fulfillment center).
• Experience in supervising or leading a team preferred.
• Ability to apply business judgment to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates and goals.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
