Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year minimum experience as a Surgical Coordinator – preferred.
• Administrative support experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Understanding of medical terminology and medical coding is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients' appointments and surgeries, send reminders, and arrange add-ons.
• Answer phones and emails, provide pre-surgical instructions and scheduling details.
• Prepare bills and coordinate with insurance companies.
• Manage surgical documents and input patient information into records.
• Ensure timely scheduling of cases per physician directions.
