ReFocus Eye Health is seeking a motivated Medical Group Medical Receptionist to join our Dover, DE practice. This in-person role is the welcoming face of a busy ophthalmology group, coordinating front desk operations and patient flow between Dover and Milford locations.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify information, handle payments, and support a high-volume, fast-paced office with clear, compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical administrative role preferred.
• Familiarity with ophthalmology or medical terminology a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and manage check-ins/check-outs with warmth.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and verify patient information.
• Collect co-pays and support daily financial reporting.
• Address patient concerns and assist with problem solving.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
