Midwest Vision Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our North Canton clinic. You will greet patients, explain expectations, and escort them to an exam room where diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry and lensometry are performed before the physician visit.

You will document patient information in the EMR, maintain chart accuracy, and support the team with minor procedures and post-operative instructions.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
• Stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and enter information into EMR.
• Explain what to expect during the visit and communicate delays.
• Document chief complaint, present illness, and past medical history.
• Record all information in EMR according to standards.
• Conduct tests of eye function and pupil reactivity.
• Apply eye drops for anesthesia, dilation, or medication.
• Assist with minor surgeries and procedures in exam/treatment rooms.
