Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Practice Manager to lead clinical operations across potentially multiple offices. You will supervise the ophthalmic support team, drive quality improvements, and ensure protocols are followed while maintaining efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include developing standards, coordinating with the Practice Triad, and addressing patient concerns to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years experience in an ophthalmic office setting.
• 3 years experience in a management role.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures.
• COA or COT certification required upon hire.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical performance and quality improvement activities.
• Develop and implement protocols and standard work.
• Assist with overall practice operations.
• Monitor patient flow and balance patient needs with resource utilization.
• Supervise clinical ophthalmologic support team members.
• Direct orientation, assignments, learning, and competency for clinical team members.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to improve care and outcomes.
• Respond to and resolve patient complaints.
