Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and At least one (1) year of RN experience.
• Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition; provides nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care and discharge; collaborates with disciplines to meet needs.
• Implementation: prepares patients for treatments, reports changes, and follows safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassesses patients and notifies physicians to modify interventions.
• Report Skills: provides accurate reports to oncoming shifts and participates in bedside handoffs.
