Job summary

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include a BSN, at least one year of RN experience, TX RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. You will participate in bedside shift reports and ensure patient safety and effective discharge planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least one year of RN experience.
TX RN license required upon hire.
BLS CPR within 14 days; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements.

Responsibilities

Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient's condition; notifies doctor of changes.
Planning: designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care and discharge planning.
Implementation: prepares patients for treatments; reports significant changes to team and physicians.
Evaluation: reassesses patients and adjusts care as needed.
Report Skills: conducts Bedside Shift Report for continuity of care.
