Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Houston, TX.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, TX RN license upon hire, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience upon hire.
• Texas RN license required upon hire.
• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Competence in RN I performance expectations or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document conditions; notify changes requiring attention.
• Design and document plan of care and daily goals; coordinate discharge needs.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; communicate changes to the team.
• Reassess patients and adjust care as needed; notify physician as necessary.
• Provide bedside report to oncoming shift with family involvement.
• Maintain safe patient environment and report safety concerns.
