Job summary

Dompé seeks a U.S. Key Account Manager to support its first ophthalmic biologic product based on rhNGF for neurotrophic keratitis.

The KAM will report to the Regional Manager and educate cornea specialists and office staff while developing center- and physician-specific plans to maximize patient access. The role requires expertise in ophthalmology, biotech/specialty sales, and strong payer dynamics understanding; travel will be regional (40–60%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced healthcare degree or experience preferred.
• Experience in biotech/specialty sales is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of ophthalmology and local payer dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare professionals (cornea specialists and ophthalmologists); support staff including nurses and technicians.
• Develop center- and physician-specific plans to maximize patient access.
• Deploy tailored messages and resources; analyze local payer dynamics.
• Build relationships with cornea thought leaders and key internal teams.
• Participate in business planning and professional society meetings as assigned.
• Travel 40–60% depending on geography and business needs.
