Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Back Office Technician to support patient care and clinic operations. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist ophthalmic staff, and help maintain exam rooms and documentation.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting. Travel to different clinics may be required. Strong communication and basic office software knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School education, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist ophthalmic staff.
• Document patient chief complaints and medical history.
• Conduct basic VA, IOP, and vision tests as directed.
• Take Fundus photos and assist with FA/ICG procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and provide patient education materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and patient flow.
