Qualifications

• Desirable: Experience in ophthalmic/optometric industry; experience as Back Office Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Collect and document patient chief complaints.
• Verify patient ocular and medical history; document medications.
• Obtain consents and ensure patients read/sign them.
• Perform refractions and basic vision tests.
• Administer tonometry and visual field tests.
• Take fundus photos and perform angiography procedures as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and manage patient education materials.
• Document ocular examinations and maintain patient flow in EMR.
