Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant for a full-time, entry-level position in Yarmouth, MA. You will assist physicians, perform basic eye tests, and help maintain a calm, efficient clinic.

Free training is provided, and you can become certified as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 24 months. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! FREE TRAINING PROVIDED!
• 0-1 years ophthalmic assistant experience; we will train.
• 1-2 years in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in collecting patient data and maintaining a clinical environment.
• Perform visual acuity testing, visual field testing, tonometry, and refractometry.
• Maintain patient records and support efficient workflow.
• Support training to become Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 24 months.
